Adi Dassler created the Adidas brand through 1920s (although it has not been until 1948 that he chose Adidas for the reason that company name). His vision was to create a line of sports shoes that will protect the player from the injuries and stress untouched with professional sports, this meant creating shoes of which protected ankles, provided suspension, had a strong outer shell, and however were also malleable and would allow freedom of movement. His vision remains the underlying ethos of the Adidas brand, and we see it to all the lines of merchandise which the company produces.
Over the course in the past two decades, adidas superstar mens extended their vision; they tried to create sportswear that appeared to be fashionable and appealed to somewhat of a much broader audience. Because of this expansion, Adidas Originals was created. Cottoning on to the popularity with the retro fashion scene, Adidas started out rereleasing lines that acquired long since stopped manufacturing. The Adidas Beckenbauer track top may be a perfect example; first released in 1982 they have now made its comeback and is particularly a firm favourite among many fashionable people.
